The Foundation’s role in the community continues to expand and includes strategic, results-oriented funding; leadership and leadership development; organizational assessment and capacity building; change management; convening; cultivating networks and collaborations; and advocacy of public policy.

The Foundation intends to:

  • Serve as leader, convener and network/collaboration cultivator.

    The Foundation will continue to bring organizational leaders together as a neutral convener, network builder and collaboration supporter focused on building consensus for action around key community issues.
  • Assess nonprofit organizations, develop leadership and build organizational capacity.

    The Foundation will increase its role in partnering with nonprofits and other organizations to strengthen operations, build capacity and enhance leadership abilities.
  • Influence public policy and lead or support advocacy efforts.

    The Foundation will become even more engaged in research, data collection and elevation of public dialogue surrounding issues that support our mission.
